Ash Silo Aerator Plate System Overview
Application Features and Purpose
Aerator devices and aerator troughs, as critical auxiliary components for intermediate silos, ash hoppers, and flat or conical-bottom storage bins, are widely deployed at the bottom of material storage silos and on the sides of ash hoppers. By introducing heated compressed air, they revitalize powdered and granular materials, enhancing their fluidity, ensuring smooth discharge processes, and effectively preventing material bridging or arching during storage.
The core structure of the aerator plate integrates silicon carbide aerator plates, rubber sealing rings, and metal casings, showcasing exceptional design ingenuity. During operation, heated compressed air is introduced through the connector at the bottom of the aerator plate, uniformly permeating the material layer, causing the material to become loose within the silo or hopper, achieving full fluidization, ensuring unimpeded material flow, and guaranteeing production continuity, stability, and safety.
The trough body is manufactured using a one-time molding process, ensuring tight, leak-free connections between the box and joints, with an elegant appearance. Before assembly, it undergoes precise shaping to eliminate welding deformation and internal stress, resulting in a mirror-smooth bottom surface and flange connection face.
The aerator plate combines excellent air permeability and wear resistance. The trough surface is treated with acid pickling and galvanization, effectively resisting oxidation and minimizing rust. High-temperature resistant sealant is used between the aerator plate and the box casing, ensuring structural integrity and durability.

1. Based on the design length L, the number of end cover plates is precisely calculated and configured to ensure structural rationality.
2. Depending on the design length L, the layout and combination of bottom troughs in the silo are flexibly adjusted to meet diverse on-site requirements.
3. A variety of specifications of aerator troughs and aerator boxes (including circular types) are available to fulfill users' personalized needs.
